About me

I'm Lefti. And I'm fascinated by what gets people and ideas moving.

I'm Lefti and I have a deep curiosity about people, ideas and change. I've worked in cafés and in corporates, founded startups, experienced hypes, processed setbacks, kept finding new paths and learned along the way: in the end it's not only about technology, strategy or growth. It's about people. Energy. Trust. The courage to do things differently. I don't simply accept the status quo. At the same time it's not about change for its own sake. I care about what really helps: better collaboration, clearer communication, meaningful solutions, real impact and courageous decisions. With all that seriousness, lightness must not be missing. Good work needs focus, but also energy. Structure, but also humour. Ambition, but also humanity. Today I support companies, founders and teams in doing exactly that: spotting new opportunities, putting ideas into motion and shaping the future.

Origins

Between cultures, markets and possibilities.

Born in Ostfildern, with Greek roots and a strong connection to Europe, my view of the world was shaped early on by multiple perspectives. Order and creative chaos, structure and improvisation, reliability and lightness, family and wanderlust – all of that is part of me.

As the fourth son of a guest-worker family with three older brothers, I learned early to hold my own, to observe and to define my own path. Later came travels to 50+ countries plus longer stays in South Africa, Greece and the USA – and with that an even sharper awareness of how differently people think, communicate and collaborate.

As a teenager I lived through the dotcom boom as a trader alongside my brother – with euphoria, risk, speed and the corresponding highs and lows. That time shaped my understanding of markets, hypes, timing, technology and human behaviour.

The fascination with digital upheavals has stayed with me. Whether as an early backer of startups, a social media pioneer at Mercedes-Benz, a first mover in B2C messaging, an early adopter of Bitcoin or an advocate for the use of artificial intelligence: I'm deeply interested in what happens when new technologies meet people, markets and organisations.

Early fascination

Technological shifts have fascinated me from early on.

I love spotting potential – in people, ideas, markets and situations. And I love turning thoughts into action.

And beyond

What else moves me.

Outside my work I'm interested in family and friends, travelling, sports, podcasts, books, cooking and enjoyment, personal development, spirituality and good conversations. A lot of that flows indirectly into my work: curiosity about people, looking beyond the obvious, the joy of lifelong learning and the wish to make positive change possible. A current example is the social-impact project WeinWirktWunder, which combines enjoyment with doing good. With every bottle sold, social institutions receive support.

Maybe the next good thought starts right here.

If my mindset resonates with you and you're working on a topic involving people, ideas, technology or change, I'd love to exchange thoughts.
